Snipping Tool is a small utility for Windows XP that lets you to cut and email a part of the screen.
It can be useful, if you want to quickly show something displayed on your screen to your chat buddy.
The program does not require the installation, simply copy SnippingTool.exe to any directory, then add a
shortcut to the program to your Quick Launch bar by dragging its icon. Rename the icon if you want.
Click the program icon in the Quick Launch bar every time you need to capture the screenshot. Cut the desired part of the screen
with a pressed left mouse button, then select Email Snippet if you want to send the screenshot by email, or choose
Save As if you prefer to save the picture to the file.
Also you can copy the captured image to the clipboard or immediately show the saved file in Windows Explorer.
The program was tested in Windows XP with Outlook Express and Outlook email clients (other email programs also must be supported).
It must also work in windows 2000, just copy gdiplus.dll from Windows XP to the program directory.
The program does not use the registry or any configuration files and does not use internet.
